This position requires a highly skilled engineer with expertise in Computer-Aided Engineering, specifically in the areas of Nonlinear FEA, Optimization, Structural Dynamics, and Multi-Body dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong fundamentals of Nonlinear FEA, Optimization for strength and stiffness targets.
- Fatigue life estimations for parent metal and weld connections.
- Strong fundamentals of Structural dynamics, Modal analysis and dynamic responses (FRF and Random excitations).
- Full vehicle level NVH studies with point mobility and local dynamic stiffness expertise and optimizations for target frequencies and dynamic responses.
- Intuitive understanding of structural mechanics and problem-solving attitude to come up with countermeasures with manufacturing and assembly feasibility.
- Exposure to Multi-Body dynamics simulations with flex-body analysis is welcome.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Automotive or Mechanical engineering
- 8 to 13 years of experience in similar role
- Proficiency in Abaqus, Nastran, Optistruct, Hypermesh, Ansa, Hyperview, Metapost
