We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in discovering and developing novel therapeutics, diagnostics, and devices for diseases with a high socio-economic impact.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry, with hands-on experience in working on bench, preferably in an industry. You will be responsible for designing and executing synthetic routes to prepare small molecules for drug discovery programs, tracking SAR and optimizing potency, selectivity, and properties of small molecules, performing purification and structural characterization of compounds, troubleshooting synthetic problems, and optimizing reaction conditions.

You will also be expected to provide mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues, maintain accurate lab records, contribute to technical reports, and collaborate with analytical teams as needed. In addition, you will provide input on intellectual property activities and work closely with other departments to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a closely related field
  • PhD in organic chemistry / medicinal chemistry
  • Postdoc in organic chemistry / Medicinal chemistry (Optional)
  • 0-4 years of hands-on experience in working on bench, preferably in an industry
