Job Overview

The IT Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.

This role requires a strong understanding of the procurement process, including contract management, supplier relationships, and cost reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing Strategy Development
    • Develop category-specific sourcing plans to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
    • Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for cost savings and implement measures to achieve these goals.
  • Supplier Relationship Management
    • Foster strong relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and prices.
    • Manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Cost Reduction Initiatives
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction through process improvements and supplier renegotiations.
    • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives that meet or exceed target savings goals.
  • Project Management
    • Lead cross-functional teams to execute sourcing projects from start to finish.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving supply chain efficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
