Accountant Specialist Role

We are seeking an accomplished accounting professional to join our organization as an Accountant Specialist. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in accounting who can perform various tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting: Manage and maintain comprehensive sets of accounting records, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable. Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in a timely manner.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies in the cash book.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Additionally, create other relevant accounting schedules as required.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure entities comply with tax regulations and assist in preparing tax returns and GST returns.
  • Audit Support: Assist in preparing documentation to support external and internal audits.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform ad-hoc analysis and complete assigned tasks by immediate superiors.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Mid-level candidates with at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Skill: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel is mandatory. Experience with SAP, Xero, or Tally accounting software is preferred.

Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a professional accounting qualification is required. Knowledge of financial reporting standards is also necessary.
