Industrial Process Specialist

  • Develop and implement process improvements across manufacturing facilities.

As Industrial Process Specialist, you will have an opportunity to provide technical expertise in designing, developing, and implementing efficient manufacturing systems, processes, and equipment.

To ensure the most effective manufacture of products, you will evaluate projects, define desired outcomes, and determine logical approaches.

  • Evaluate project feasibility and cost-effectiveness for optimal product development.
  • Prepare feasibility studies and submit recommendations accordingly.
  • Results contribute to informed management decisions regarding efficient processes, methods, machinery, tools, equipment, services, and systems needed in product manufacture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Projection, evaluation, specification, and acquisition of new or replacement machine tools.
  • Provide engineering consultation on manufacturing processes, tooling, and gaging requirements, as well as cost delivery analysis.
  • Work primarily on fixtures for assembly, pressing, work holding, special tools used in machining and assembly.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction programs aligned with Lean Manufacturing principles.

The position requires a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
