Job Title: Head IP

This is a challenging role that requires expertise in Intellectual Property (IP) management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review designs for potential IP legal risks and plan mitigation strategies.
  2. Develop search strategies and conduct analysis for Freedom to Operate (FTO), State of the Art (SOA), invalidation, opposition, and litigation.
  3. Perform advanced technology and competitive intelligence analysis.
  4. Drive IP culture and initiate actions to de-risk designs/products.
  5. Work closely with IP attorneys and legal associates to review and recommend FTO decisions.
  6. Plan and conduct Bill of Materials (BOM) FTO reviews for New Product Development (NPD) at product level across automotive technology domains.
  7. Implement best-in-class practices, standardize processes, and enhance productivity through digitalization.
  8. Release periodic IP alerts and manage projects/business clusters independently.

Requirements:

  • Graduate/PG/PhD qualification in Engineering (Mechanical/Electronics/Automotive/Material Science).
  • Additional qualifications: WON, WIPO DL101, DFSS, Qualified Patent Agent Exam will be an advantage.
