Job Opportunity:

Senior Audit Associate

  • We develop a profound understanding of the audit approach, methodology, and tools employed by our organization.
  • We conduct audit procedures and tests in accordance with the established audit methodology based on the overall audit plan, ensuring accurate documentation of work performed.
  • We identify areas of risk and accounting and auditing concerns, discuss them with engagement teams to resolve any issues that arise.
  • We research technical accounting matters.
  • We acquire industry expertise.
  • We prepare audit reports and management letters.
  • We exercise professional skepticism, judgment, and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements.
  • We ensure that documentation is compliant with quality standards.
  • We collaborate effectively as part of the team and communicate efficiently with professionals.
  • We provide supervision and development training for associates.
  • We take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clients.
  • We provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations, including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables.
  • We ensure continuous professional growth through ongoing education.
  • We participate in a range of projects and are open to collaborating and working with multiple teams, demonstrating critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and timely completion of work.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Professional certifications such as ACCA/CPA
  • Qualified CA/ACCA/Licensed CPA
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience working in an accounting and audit-related field, specifically NFP industry
  • Strong technical skills in accounting, including IFRS or GAAP
  • Advanced data analytical skills, including Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as the position requires frequent communications with international clients and United States-based engagement teams
