The position is centered around establishing a new transaction testing function within the Enterprise Data Risk Management team. This involves ensuring that financial transactions are accurate, complete, and adhere to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the prioritization and cadence of reviews for transaction testing of regulatory reports through comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify discrepancies, anomalies, and gaps in reported values by performing validations against source systems/points of origin.
  • Implement transaction testing across regulatory reports to validate accuracy and completeness of reported values against the points of origin.
  • Design and prepare 2LoD transaction testing review reports summarizing the approach, testing methodology, and outcomes inclusive of findings, if any.
  • Perform data management controls testing across regulatory reports to validate overall control design, operational effectiveness, and coverage.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, or other related discipline is required. Additionally, 2-3 years of experience in regulatory reporting teams, audit, compliance, or risk management within the banking or financial services industry is necessary.
