At our organization, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Geographic Data Specialist.

We are seeking a talented individual with expertise in geospatial data analysis and interpretation. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection and Management: Search, collect, process, and manage large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data
  • ETL operations: ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server. Internally develop or collaborate with third-party vendors to deploy solutions based on business requirements.
  • GIS Analysis and Mapping: Conduct spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to aid various projects and initiatives.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through quality checks and resolution of data discrepancies using ArcGIS Data Reviewer.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including project managers, analysts, and external partners, to comprehend data requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Image analysis: Familiarity with Image processing techniques.
  • Preferred to be knowledgeable with various ESRI products - ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, Data Reviewer Extension.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
