Job Title: Security Operations Manager
Job DescriptionThe primary objective of this role is to ensure the physical security and safety of all shipments in various facilities under the region.
This includes ensuring proper maintenance and functioning of electronic security devices, conducting regular security audits, undertaking pre-employment verifications and police verifications for new joinees, conducting security orientation and training for employees, and maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for ensuring physical security and safety of all shipments in the region wherever assigned.
- Conduct investigation cases related to loss, damage, pilferages, and theft of shipments and misuse of credit cards in the Region.
- Responsible for regular updation of SHIELD (online security module) and timely closure of investigation cases related to the region in the system.
- Responsible for making safety provisions of high value shipments in the branch through physical hand-over and take-over, sending pre-alerts, monitoring shipments in transit, educating customers on packaging etc. as per defined procedure.
- Conduct security checks on pickups done in the region wherever assigned for dangerous goods/banned items.
- Conduct security checks on all shipments received from cash customers in the region wherever assigned.
