Job Title

A visual designer will work with the development team to create a better user experience for our booking platform.

  1. Collaborate with the development team to enhance the user interface and improve user experience of our booking platform.
  2. Work on the UI/UX for both the web and mobile app, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience across devices.
  3. Create design prototypes, wireframes, and user flows based on the evolving needs of the application.
  4. Ensure responsive and mobile-friendly designs.
  5. Maintain a consistent visual identity across the platform.

Content Management & SEO:

  1. Regularly update and manage content on the booking portal.
  2. Ensure content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with our SEO strategy.
  3. Optimize website content for search engines (SEO), including meta tags, keywords, and image alt-text.
  4. Collaborate with the content team to upload blog posts, travel guides, or promotional materials.

Web Performance & Optimization:

  1. Monitor website performance using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and provide insights for improving design, navigation, and user experience.
  2. Identify areas of improvement for conversion rates, page loading speeds, and user engagement.

Requirements:

  1. Proven 3+ years experience as a web designer, preferably in e-commerce or booking platforms.
  2. Diploma, Graduate Degree, or relevant certification in a UI/UX Designing.
  3. Proficiency in web design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD etc.
  4. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SASS and experience with basic content management systems (WordPress or custom platforms).
  5. Basic understanding of SEO principles and how to implement them in web content.
  6. Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX skills, responsive design, and previous web projects.
  7. Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  8. Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in a remote setting.

Valuable Additional Skills:

  1. Experience working with booking engines or travel portals.
  2. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress.
  3. Familiarity with designing tools like adobe illustrator, photoshop etc.
  4. Basic understanding of JavaScript and JavaScript libraries like react.js environments (helpful but not required).
