Lead Data Engineering Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role will design robust ETL pipelines, build scalable business intelligence solutions and drive data-driven outcomes that enhance client value across telecom operations and IT asset management.

This is a challenging data engineering position – you'll be building the infrastructure that powers enterprise transformation in complex telecommunications and IT Asset Management (ITAM) environments.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into technical solutions and lead data migration projects to ensure high-quality data assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design high-performance database structures and queries for telecom and ITAM analytics using SQL.
  • Develop business intelligence dashboards and reports using Power BI, SSRS or Tableau.
  • Architect data integrations between legacy telecom systems and cloud-based ITAM platforms.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated ETL pipelines using DBT, SSIS, Informatica or Talend.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of SQL database development experience with MS SQL Server required.
  • 5+ years of experience with modern ETL tools.
  • 5+ years of business intelligence and reporting experience with Power BI, SSRS or Tableau.
  • Telecom domain knowledge with OSS/BSS systems and network infrastructure.
  • ITAM expertise with software/hardware lifecycle and license compliance.
  • Cloud experience with AWS or Azure and programming skills with Python or R.
