Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $175,000 - $225,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Software Engineer in our team, your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, testing, and deploying cloud services and big data pipelines using Azure technologies. The services you architect and build must be durable across multiple releases, optimized, and meet all expectations of highly scalable, available, and reliable systems.

You will collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and security researchers to deliver features and enhancements that meet customer needs and expectations. You will also follow engineering best practices and ensure code quality, performance, security, and maintainability, while continuously learning new technologies and frameworks and applying them to provide thought leadership and solve challenging problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. 10+ years' experience as a software engineer working on large-scale software and a proven track record of having shipped commercially successful software products and services.
  2. Proven track record of architecting and building performant, scalable, reliable, distributed cloud services and driving cost and operational efficiency.
  3. Passion for driving engineering excellence, optimization, and efficiency initiatives.
  4. Experience with big data technology and data ingestion/processing pipelines.
  5. Proficiency in C/C++, C# (.NET Core), or Python.
  6. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse cross-geo team.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Curiosity and willingness to learn, share, and improve.
  10. Passion for security and customer satisfaction.
  11. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
