Job Overview
A Senior Site Reliability Engineer is needed to maintain and execute a reliability roadmap for Sumo Logic's products, ensuring sustained operational excellence. The ideal candidate will work closely with global SRE teams, product area engineering teams, and development infrastructure teams to optimize operations, increase efficiency, and harden security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute a reliability roadmap to improve reliability, maintainability, security, efficiency, and velocity
- Collaborate with teams to establish and refine the reliability roadmap
- Participate in on-call rotations to understand operations workload and improve the on-call experience
- Write code and automation to reduce operational workload, increase efficiency, and improve security posture
- Scale systems sustainably through automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another scientific or technical discipline
- 4-6 years of industry experience in cloud native application development
- Strong debugging and trouble-shooting skills across the entire technology stack
- Deep understanding of AWS Networking, Compute, Storage, and managed services
- Competency with modern CI/CD tooling like Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Experience with full life cycle support of services from creation to production support
