Cloud Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team in Chennai, India. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and experience working with AWS Glue and PySpark.

  • 5–10 years of overall data engineering experience
  • Minimum 3+ years hands-on with AWS Glue and PySpark
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and AWS data tools
About the Role

This is a permanent position that requires the ability to work from the office or hybrid mode. Immediate joiners are preferred. We offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud computing architecture and be proficient in designing and developing scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Pipeline Design and Development: Design and develop high-quality data pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark to meet business requirements.
  2. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions.
  3. Code Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to best practices and standards, and troubleshoot issues to resolve complex technical problems.
  4. Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
  • Data Lake Architecture: Strong understanding of data lake architecture
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • CI/CD Experience: Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, or CloudFormation
  • AWS Certifications: AWS Certifications (Data Analytics, Solutions Architect)
