Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Affairs Leader to spearhead our medical affairs strategy. This role will focus on providing robust support for medico-marketing initiatives and fostering collaboration between the medical and marketing teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Medico-Marketing Support: Provide essential medical references and data to inform product positioning and new product research and development (NPD).
  • Marketing Collaboration: Offer strategic advice and inputs to the marketing team to ensure accurate messaging and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Material Preparation: Develop comprehensive product manuals, monographs, and training slides to enhance understanding and communication of product benefits.
  • CME Development: Design and prepare Continuing Medical Education (CME) materials to support ongoing education initiatives.
  • Product Evaluation: Assess new product ideas and presentations, providing valuable insights and recommendations to the marketing and business development teams.
  • Training Sessions: Conduct medical training sessions for field staff to ensure they are well-informed about products and therapeutic areas.
  • Clinical Study Participation: Actively participate in clinical studies to gather relevant data and insights that inform medical affairs strategies.
  • Competitive Analysis: Evaluate competitors' new products and strategies, providing analysis to inform company positioning and development efforts.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Advanced degree in life sciences (MBBS, MD) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years in medical affairs or related fields, with a focus on marketing support and product evaluation.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, clinical development processes, and the therapeutic landscape relevant to our products.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess data and inform strategic decisions.
