Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled data engineer to join our team. This role involves making immediate, direct contributions to enhancing our competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable.

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.

  • Develops and maintains scalable data pipelines.
  • Builds out new API integrations.
  • Collaborates with analytics and business teams to improve data models.
  • Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • 2-3 years' experience working on Data Lake projects.
  • 2+ years' experience in a leading role within technical work streams analytics solutions delivery teams.
  • Experience designing and building Data Platforms integrating disparate data sources.
  • Understanding of big data and distributed Architecture.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience implementing Big Data solutions using Microsoft Data Platform and Azure Data Services.

Additionally, the candidate should have:

  • Proficient with Azure cloud computing including big data technologies.
  • Understanding of data modelling concepts.
  • Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python/Scala, SQL, Spark-SQL.
