Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Data Automation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing automated test cases for Fixed Income trading workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom data validation scripts based on provided regression test cases
  • Translate stored procedure logic into test automation and collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Compare datasets across environments and generate diffs to identify discrepancies
  • Collaborate with development, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
  • Drive the creation of regression test suites for critical back-office applications and establish comprehensive QA strategies and test plans from scratch

Requirements:

  • Strong programming experience in Python or Java
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, including writing and debugging complex queries
  • Experience working with data structures, large tables, and datasets
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with delivering projects within an agile environment
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
