Job Title: Mental Health Specialist

As a compassionate Mental Health Advisor, you will contribute to our growth journey in Bangalore and play a key role in delivering exceptional care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To assist users with abuse, mental health, and trauma-related issues on voice and non-voice channels on our platforms.
  2. Conduct comprehensive user assessments, evaluating symptoms, identifying risk factors, and formulating customised plans.
  3. Provide immediate support and intervention for individuals experiencing distress, assessing for safety, facilitating de-escalation, and coordinating referrals as needed.
  4. Educate clients and their families about rights violation, mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources available to support their well-being.
  5. Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client assessments, progress notes, and interventions, adhering to confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  7. Pursue ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay informed about current developments in the field.
  8. Engage in outreach efforts to raise awareness about abuse, trauma, mental health, and advocate for holistic wellness.

Requirements:

  1. A Master's Degree in Psychology or Counselling is required.
  2. Preferred candidates should have specialisation in counselling psychology.
  3. Flexible work arrangements, including rotational shifts.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  6. A deep understanding of the importance of mental health and well-being, and a commitment to promoting mental health awareness and support.
  7. Collaborative team player with a structured and conceptual approach to work.
