Procurement Expert

Job Summary:

The Procurement Professional plays a vital role in the organization by ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in a manner that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

• To be actively involved in the product development/manufacturing process and undertake cost reduction measures to achieve target costs for materials and reduce overall material costs.
• To include suppliers and conduct cost-benefit analysis workshops, innovation workshops, and concept competitions with key suppliers to concentrate on key functions of components/projects.
• To initiate market observation, conduct, and provide market information/analyses on international technology and price trends to obtain new suppliers and new technologies in the supply chain.
• To introduce and follow up given cross-functional Procurement strategies to ensure the linkage of commodity strategies and technological market trends.
• To support activities planned by lines of business to harmonize and implement technological line-of-business strategies with procurement strategies.
• To drive sourcing decisions with interface partners to incorporate technological know-how and safeguard security strategies.
• To be involved in and provide corresponding support for projects in lines of business to provide optimum input for quotes, workshops, scope of material (BoM assessment) and realization of potential for savings in the project.
• To assess and develop suppliers from the technological standpoint to concentrate on best suppliers.
• To participate in workgroups and work in projects to stay informed and keep others informed, and exert influence at an early stage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• To have profound knowledge and broad experience in SCM-Procurement Digi Skills.
• To analyze, interpret, structure, and present extensive and/or complex data and information on the topic.
• To have application experience in complex environments (some interdependencies, variables, uncertainties).
• To successfully execute ambitious tasks, independently choosing the optimal solution or method from different options.
• To find solutions in complex environments and for broad organizational/professional issues and/or unpredictable problems.
• To have Education - BE Electrical preferred.
