Job Title

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team.

  • This role will involve designing and developing new features, maintaining and enhancing existing ones, testing and deploying code, creating back-end components, integrating user-facing elements, designing user interactions on web pages, ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices, and ensuring performance of applications.
About the Role

You will be responsible for building products with sophisticated features that are simple to use and visually appealing. You should thrive on being involved in all aspects of the product, from front end to back end, cloud management, and support. We are looking for a self-starter who can figure out things you don't know or understand. Experience working with Ruby on Rails and ability to write clean Ruby code is essential. Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bitbucket, Git, Github is also required.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in web-based software development
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with MVC, REST
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3 and Bootstrap framework
  • Familiarity with database technology and SQL programming (we use MySQL)
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools (we use Jira, Scrum)
  • Proficient with Linux distributions like Ubuntu
Requirements
  • Familiarity with frameworks like AngularJS, Angular, React
  • Familiarity with web servers like Apache, Nginx
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (we use AWS)
  • Familiarity in developing and maintaining APIs

Experience in developing and maintaining APIs would be a bonus point for this role.
