Technical Director - Engineering

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead the development of our AI platform. As Technical Director – Engineering, you will oversee the architecture and engineering of our system, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and aligned with industry best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex systems and APIs
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver into real-world environments
  • Drive technical execution across short-term priorities and long-term strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of experience in backend, platform, or systems engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred)
  • Deep experience with Python or comparable backend languages in production environments
  • Proven track record designing and scaling complex systems
  • Experience leading engineering teams or projects with high accountability and ownership
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, distributed systems, and workflow orchestration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architecture decisions under ambiguity
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
