We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years' experience in software development or performance testing and engineering, with expertise in systems analysis and agile practices.

The role involves engaging in the entire lifecycle of services, from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, capacity planning, risk assessments, and launch reviews.
  • Maintaining services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Running continuous improvement activities that improve service availability, recovery, efficiency, and performance.

The Performance Test Engineer will work closely with the team to implement highly available and scalable architectures for core and third-party components of the service.

The role also involves aligning with/improving change management and capacity planning processes, as well as proactively improving service availability, performance, and efficiency via delivery of metrics, monitoring, and incident response processes.

The successful candidate will be aware of production degradation of Service Level Objectives and identify specific system information needed to facilitate incident response/post-mortems and deliver root cause analysis.

Key responsibilities include contributing to a Scrum team to maintain a deep understanding of system functionality and architecture, focusing on operational aspects of the service (availability, performance, change management, incident response, capacity planning, etc.).

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in tools such as Gatling, AWS Cloud, Harness, K6, LoadRunner, JMeter, APPD, Grafana, Splunk, DevOps, CI/CD, WebLogic, Oracle databases, and cloud-native services.
