We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence technologies to extract insights, build predictive models, and develop AI-powered solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience in data science or operations research, with expertise in optimization methodologies, including the use of various optimization libraries (e.g. CPLEX, Gurobi, ortools, etc.). Strong Python coding skills are essential, including object-oriented programming concepts and the ability to work with machine learning libraries and basic SQL knowledge.

Experience working in cloud technologies, particularly MS Azure, is preferred, and familiarity with theory behind various machine learning concepts is required. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in CRISP-DM projects delivery, Agile project management (Scrum, Kanban), and business requirements gathering, transformation, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Analysis: Understanding business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing data-driven solutions.
  • Model Development: Designing and implementing predictive models using machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques.
  • Deployment: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy models into production environments and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and providing recommendations for business decisions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in data science or operations research.
  • Expertise in optimization methodologies and use of optimization libraries.
  • Strong Python coding skills, including object-oriented programming concepts and machine learning libraries.
  • Experience working in cloud technologies, particularly MS Azure.
