Job Opportunity for General Insurance Actuaries

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Consultant to join our team at EliteRecruitments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in General Insurance Actuaries and experience in IFRS17/Solvency II.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide actuarial services to P&C (Re)Insurers
  • Assist clients with Solvency II Technical Provision and Capital modelling calculations and reporting
  • Assist clients with the implementation and compliance of IFRS 17
  • Provide expert advice on the impact of IFRS17 on financial reporting
  • Conduct actuarial analysis and prepare reports for regulatory reporting
  • Lead/Assist multiple actuarial projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in P&C actuarial work, with a strong focus on Reserving, Solvency II and IFRS17
  • Good understanding of the interaction between various insurance functions and ability to liaise with functional heads
  • Excellent client management skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
