Job Overview:

The role of Head Commercial is a strategic position that requires shaping and driving the base metals strategy in India. This full-time, on-site role reports to the Director – Commercial (Metals) and plays a critical part in developing organizational infrastructure to support phased growth from trading to manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Heading trade commercials and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Developing business strategy and building a team of professionals
  • Leading development of organizational infrastructure for growth

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Min. 20 years experience in base metals industry with a Bachelor's degree or Min. 10 years experience in base metals industry post Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Thorough understanding of Base Metals value chain, commercial understanding of trade, strong network of customers and suppliers, proficiency in hedging mechanisms, team management experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work in a dynamic environment
