Job Title: Data Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished Data Architect to spearhead the development, maintenance, and optimization of our data infrastructure.

This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing complex data systems, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and big data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest data from various sources into our data warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights to stakeholders.
  • AWS Cloud Services: Leverage expertise in AWS services, including Lambda, DMS, Glue, and Airflow, to streamline data workflows and optimize system performance.
  • Data Warehousing: Utilize Snowflake as a primary data warehousing platform, developing and optimizing stored procedures to implement complex business logic and data transformations.
  • Data Quality: Implement robust data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of all delivered datasets and reports, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Project Delivery Lifecycle: Oversee the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to documentation and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring seamless integration with existing data pipelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, including Lambda, DMS, Glue, and Airflow
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and Snowflake implementation
  • Proficiency in SQL scripting and Python for data manipulation and automation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design and implement solutions based on business requirements
  • Familiarity with data quality best practices and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
