Automation Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Developer to join our team.

As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions using JavaScript. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless automation implementation and develop automated test suites for web applications.

  • Your primary focus will be on design and development of automation frameworks using JavaScript, Protractor, Jest, or Cypress.
  • You will also integrate automation with Continuous Integration (Jenkins/Bamboo).

Requirements:

  • 6-14 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience in Playwright or Protractor or Jest or Puppeteer or Cypress.
  • Hands-on experience in Jasmine or Mocha or Chai.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing business requirements and identifying opportunities for automation.
  • Developing high-quality automated test suites that meet business requirements.
  • Working closely with the QA team to ensure successful deployment of automated test suites.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
