Claims Examiner

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage and preparing and submitting billing data to insurance companies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance coverage and prepare accurate and complete billing data for submission to insurance companies.
• Analyze and resolve any discrepancies or issues with patient bills, working closely with patients to settle outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement processes to reduce denials and improve overall billing efficiency.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding.
• Experience in handling insurance claims and working with Medicare.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
