Job Title: Software Development Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled software development expert to join our team. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new and existing software systems and applications.

Your primary focus will be on technical activities related to ongoing application development, maintenance, and support. You will work closely with the team lead to identify and implement best practices and software development life cycle processes within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and debug software systems and applications.
  • Participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design.
  • Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements and drive proof of concept for new programs and platform initiatives.
  • Review technical specifications based on stated business requirements and ensure product compliance to non-functional requirements.
  • Serve as a technical expert/architect on the project and establish and ensure design and code review process to ensure code quality.
  • Evaluate and ensure the product complies to regulatory & business requirements and plan for and manage application release and deployment roadmap and documentation.
  • Implement best practices and software development life cycle processes within the team.
  • Proactive in raising issues and achieve clarity on the functional & technical aspects of the requirements.
  • Excellent team player, ability to work in a global team and follow through on deadlines.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A graduate degree in any specialization or equivalent with programming experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Hibernate / JPA, Spring, Rest, Web Services & Spring boot.
  • Experience in micro-services, Angular, React will be an added advantage.
  • At least 7-15 years of experience as a Java developer.
  • Sound logical, analytical and problem solving skills.
