Job Title: German Language Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in German language and culture to drive business success. As a German Language Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication with our clients and partners in Germany.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for translating high-level documents from English to German and vice versa, maintaining the style and tone of the original content.
  • You will collect relevant financial information through primary research and secondary research, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • You will provide quality assurance of translated materials, guaranteeing their excellence and relevance.
  • You will collaborate with other teams to expand market information and data coverage, driving business growth.
  • You will participate in testing new tools and applications to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • You will ideate and execute process improvement and automation projects, streamlining our operations.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency or native competency in German and English languages.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a translator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial subject matter, concepts, and terms.
  • Ability to conduct thorough objective research, with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of stakeholders.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deliver work within deadlines.

Bonus Points:

  • Language proficiency certification desirable.
  • Experience with Lean principles, automation, and machine translation.
  • Knowledge in SQL, Python, and VBA Macro.
