Content Strategist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Content Strategist to develop and implement engaging content plans across various social media platforms.

  • Create culturally relevant content that aligns with our political narrative and campaign goals.
  • Manage social media assets independently, taking ownership of content creation, curation, and scheduling.
  • Edit and refine high-quality content as needed.
  • Develop strategic messaging with the communication team to effectively communicate political messages, ideologies, and campaign initiatives.
  • Foster audience engagement by understanding their sentiments and tailoring content to resonate with their perspectives.
  • Utilize multimedia elements like graphics, videos, and infographics to enhance visual appeal and impact of content.
  • Analyze political trends, news, and cultural nuances in India, incorporating these insights into the content strategy.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, and other team members to integrate content across channels.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance, using data to optimize strategies and enhance audience reach and engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2-6 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, and strategic communication.
  • Proficient in Tamil and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in content creation, with a portfolio demonstrating ability to craft engaging content.
  • In-depth understanding of various social media platforms and trends, especially within the context of political landscape.
  • Keen interest in Indian politics, with an understanding of regional political dynamics, ideologies, and current affairs.
  • Creative mindset with ability to generate fresh and innovative ideas for content.
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing political scenarios and adjust content strategies accordingly.
Education Criteria
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Political Science, or related field preferred.
  • Specialization or coursework in Content Creation, Digital Marketing, or Political Communication advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Tamil (Write, Speak, Read) and Hindi/English essential.
