About This Cloud Platform Role

As a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud platforms using cutting-edge technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to empower developers to provision infrastructure, deploy applications, manage secrets, and operate at scale without requiring expertise in Kubernetes or cloud platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with our team and contribute to the standardization of best practices across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. You will work on creating developer-friendly APIs and experiences while maintaining high reliability, observability, and performance standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop reusable workflows using Go to enable seamless infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and secret management.
  2. Drive platform standardization and codify best practices for cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
  3. Create APIs and experiences that prioritize developer convenience while upholding high reliability, observability, and performance expectations.
  4. Prioritize automation in your workflow to eliminate manual operations through code-based solutions.
  5. Collaborate with the team on IAM, security, cost, and scalability decisions, focusing on AWS-native and Kubernetes-native architectures.
Your Expertise Matters

To succeed in this role, you should possess 5-7+ years of experience in professional cloud computing with expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is also required.

  • Required Skills:
  1. Proficiency in Golang for backend automation and system tooling.
  2. Experience operating in Kubernetes environments and building automation for multi-tenant workloads.
  3. Deep understanding of containers, microservice architectures, and modern DevOps practices.
  4. Awareness of AWS (or equivalent cloud provider), Terraform, and CI/CD systems like GitLab CI.
