Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement commodity strategies for all direct and indirect commodities across Cepheid India
  • Execute PR to PO process and normal purchasing activities to support Manufacturing and Commercial business Operations
  • Negotiate and contract with Suppliers in alignment with respective functions while focusing on quality, delivery, and cost
  • Drive YoY cost savings through new initiatives and benchmarking across market
  • Lead Cost Savings Workshops and create SOPs
  • Align with Global teams on strategy and processes to leverage benefits
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key suppliers and monitor performance as per agreed deliverables
  • Manage the end-to-end Vendor Onboarding process
  • Ensure and monitor compliance to all processes and policies within and at supplier end
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 8 yrs experience or Diploma in Engineering with 12 yrs experience
  • Diploma in Purchasing Management or SCM
  • Minimum 5 years managing Direct and Indirect commodities
  • Experience in Medical, Pharma or FMCG industry
  • Experience in developing and implementing commodity Strategy
  • Proficiency in MS Office, PPT and ERP system (SAP)
