Job Title: Senior Financial Services Executive

Overview

As a senior financial services executive, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing complex financial statement audits. You will guide assigned staff in their tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Plan, assess risks, test, and complete engagements to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results
  • Lead medium and large-scale engagements, developing reasonable time budgets and coordinating audit requests to meet deadlines
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff on technical issues, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Communicate work status and client issues with senior managers/directors, maintaining open lines of communication
  • Comply with firm policies, ensuring adherence to established procedures and guidelines
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through quality and service excellence
  • Ensure proper documentation and review of engagements, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Design audit approaches and supervise teams, driving results-oriented outcomes
Requirements for Success
  • Relevant professional certifications (CA/ACCA/CPA/CA) and 5-7 years of experience in financial auditing
  • Proactive team player with a result-oriented approach, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments
  • Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and International Standards of Auditing (ISA), with the ability to apply this knowledge in practice
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office, with the ability to analyze data and present findings
  • Grasp of business and technical issues, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
