Turing is inviting experienced mechanics to participate in an innovative research initiative. As part of the Common Lives Project, you and a fellow participant will wear GoPro cameras during your daily activities for 5 separate days within a 2-week window.

This project aims to capture real-world scenarios, enabling the development of advanced AI models that understand complex human activities. Your role as a mechanic will be crucial in shaping the future of human-centered AI research.

About the Initiative
  • You will wear a head-mounted GoPro camera to record your daily activities for 5 consecutive days within a 2-week period.
  • The footage will be used to develop AI models that can understand complex human behaviors.
Requirements
  • No children under 18 should be present or visiting during the recording period.
  • All adults in the space must be fluent English speakers and consent to being recorded.
  • You must work indoors in non-customer-facing roles (e.g., not retail or childcare).
  • Preferably engaged in manual or creative work (e.g., chef, baker, artist, carpenter, musician, electrician, mechanic).
