Senior Backend Developer for Scalable API Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Blue Spire Inc. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and building high-performance APIs using Node.js / Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • API Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Code Efficiency: Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code using Node.js or Spring Boot.
  • API Security: Implement API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Integration and Optimization: Collaborate with front-end and mobile developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality across platforms, and optimize API performance to ensure high availability.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, and participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Agile Environment: Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in API development, with a strong focus on RESTful services and microservices architectures.
  • Proficiency in Node.js or Spring Boot for backend development.
  • Strong experience with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Solid understanding of API design principles, OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
