SCADA Specialist

Transform manufacturing operations with cutting-edge solutions.

  • Lead design configuration and deployment of SCADA applications across manufacturing operations.
  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems, PLC, SCADA, MES with enterprise IT systems, ERP, databases, and cloud.

Maintain secure and efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.

Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing and predictive analytics. Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing SCADA/MES deployments to ensure minimal downtime.

Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team. Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation, scripting module configuration, and project deployment is mandatory.

  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards, ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms, Azure IoT, AWS IoT, etc.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments
  • Familiarity with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, for SCADA/MES deployments
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation, Industry 4.0 projects
  • Certifications, Ignition Gold Certified Specialist, OPC UA, or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications
