Vulnerability Management Support

The ideal candidate for this Vulnerability Management role will have a strong understanding of patch management processes, vulnerability scanning tools, and threat prioritization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Vulnerability Scanning and Remediation: Regularly conduct vulnerability scans and validate results to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Security Operations: Track and report on remediation progress, escalating high-risk findings as needed. Utilize strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues.
  • Patch Management: Assist in defining security hardening guidelines and vulnerability baselines. Ensure the effective implementation of these guidelines across the organization.
  • Technical Support: Provide L2-level technical support and mentorship to junior team members. Communicate effectively with global stakeholders across security and IT teams.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT security or vulnerability management.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or Nessus.
  • Strong understanding of patch management processes (Windows, Linux, applications).
  • Familiarity with CVE/CVSS scoring systems and threat prioritization.
