Job Title: Data Engineer - Apache Druid

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems using Apache Druid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Engineering: Strong hands-on experience with Apache Druid in production environments.
  • Real-time Analytics: Solid understanding of real-time analytics, OLAP systems, and columnar storage technologies.
  • SQL and Query Optimization: Proficiency in SQL, query optimization, and data modeling for Druid.
  • Integration and Architecture: Experience integrating Druid with Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, or Flink, and designing scalable architectures.
  • System Administration: Knowledge of Linux administration, shell scripting, and JVM tuning.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, and Splunk.
  • Cloud-Native Deployments: Exposure to cloud-native deployments on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Apache Druid.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
