Senior Accounting Position

  • This role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including managing finances, preparing financial statements, and handling payroll.
  • You will also be responsible for budgeting, financial forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Responsibilities include organizing and labeling files, maintaining records of purchases, GRNs, POs, and sales bills.
  • You will also need to respond to GST Council notices and intimations, filing GSTR forms (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) on time.
  • Ensure timely payments and compliance through TDS Portal.
  • Maintain consultant expense records and track utility and service bills for timely payment.
  • Monitor PayTM, GPay, Card, and Bank transactions, reporting discrepancies daily.

The successful candidate will have experience in using TallyPrime, proficiency in tax laws, and ability to prepare financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Develop and implement effective internal controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth functioning of business operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance
  • Strong knowledge of financial software, including TallyPrime
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
