Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the performance of existing Wintel server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, IIS, file & print etc.

The role involves implementing, supporting and migrating AWS cloud services, as well as managing and creating cloud formation templates. Experience in provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure is essential.

Additional responsibilities include analyzing technical requirements to perform migrations from server 2008 to server 2016/2019, migrating legacy workloads from a legacy operating system to a supportable operating system, and breaking/fixing issues in the Infrastructure support queue.

Working on projects related to provisioning, migrating and creating infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment is also a key aspect of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or a similar field.

MCSE certification and a minimum of 10 years experience in Infrastructure Engineering are desirable.

In-depth knowledge of Wintel Support and Microsoft Technologies, experience with implementation, support and migration of AWS cloud services, Office 365 and Azure are required.

Experience in migrating IIS & exchange workloads from a legacy operating system to a supportable operating system is advantageous.

A strong understanding of best practices in Infrastructure engineering and data security is also necessary.
