Job Description:

Dairy Saathi is an agritech platform connecting farmers directly to consumers through three dedicated frontend apps.

  • An admin React.js web app for farm management
  • A React Native mobile app for delivery drivers
  • A React Native mobile app for end customers

Version 2.0 is on the way, bringing significant enhancements in user experience and performance.

As a skilled frontend engineer, you will be responsible for taking end-to-end ownership of modern, impactful products and shaping the user experience in a mission-driven company.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading the development, architecture, and maintenance of all frontend apps (admin, driver, customer)
  • Collaborating with backend engineers, designers, and product teams to rapidly deliver new features
  • Ensuring code quality, maintainability, and performance across projects
  • Mentoring and reviewing code for junior engineers to uphold development excellence
  • Championing modern frontend best practices, with an emphasis on automated testing, accessibility, and usability
  • Driving innovation in UI/UX – quickly prototyping and implementing the latest technologies for frictionless user journeys

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in React.js and React Native app development
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux, and UI frameworks (such as Material UI)
  • Strong background in unit/automated testing and continuous integration (CI/CD)
  • Track record of optimizing performance and ensuring application security
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing complex app state
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and effective cross-functional collaboration
