Data Platform Engineer

You will play a pivotal role in crafting end-to-end data platforms that are scalable, efficient, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft the architecture of data platforms from ingestion to transformation to consumption.
  • Develop and scale data platforms in production environments using AWS services such as Amazon EMR, AWS Glue, and Amazon S3.
  • Built event-driven systems using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Amazon SQS/SNS.
  • Work with microservices-based architectures, including service communication, deployment strategies, and monitoring.

This is a hands-on engineering position requiring deep technical involvement in building, deploying, and maintaining the data platform. You must be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Requirements:

  • Solid programming expertise in Python with strong fundamentals in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  • Proven problem-solving ability with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Deep understanding of data platforms, including conceptual and practical knowledge of end-to-end data platform architecture.
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling data platforms in production environments.
