Job Title: Cloud Data Lead/Architect

At INUMELLAS CONSULTANCY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED, we are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Lead/Architect to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead our cloud data initiatives and drive the success of our data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Strategy: Develop and implement data architecture strategies that align with business goals, designing scalable and efficient data models and frameworks.
  • Data Integration: Oversee the integration of data from various sources, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.
  • Data Management: Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security, developing and enforcing data management policies and standards.
  • Analytics Support: Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to support their needs, providing data access and optimizing data pipelines for analysis.
  • Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend data technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance data management and analytics capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data architecture meets organizational needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks, setting clear expectations, and ensuring effective communication among team members.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, addressing and resolving data-related issues and bottlenecks.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, including data flows, data models, and technical specifications.
Requirements:
  • Cloud Data: In-depth knowledge of AWS services (IAM, Redshift, Step Functions), proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (like CloudFormation Stack), and knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Big Data Technologies: Strong experience of Hadoop, Spark, or other big data processing frameworks, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and ETL tools (like IBM DataStage, ODI, Informatica, Talend, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Apache Nifi).
  • Data Transformation: Skills in data cleansing, aggregation, and enrichment.
  • Data Warehousing Architecture: Understanding of data warehouse architecture, including staging, data integration, and presentation layers.
  • Collaboration and Communication Tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence for project management and team collaboration.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work as part of a team, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and must have worked with US customers and should have provided at least 3-4 hours overlap with Pacific Time (PT).

  • Certifications in cloud platforms.
  • Experience and Job location: Experience should be between 10 to 15 years, and location: Bangalore.
