Software Development Role Overview

This position focuses on delivering high-quality automated testing services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test automation opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated test scripts to ensure software applications meet quality and reliability standards.
  • Identify and report defects using bug tracking systems, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce.
  • Perform regression testing to guarantee changes do not introduce new issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing clear and concise information about test results and defects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in automation testing or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools like Selenium WebDriver or Cucumber.
  • Experience in designing and developing automation test scripts using programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and their implementation.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
