
Food Beverage Leader

This position is responsible for ensuring optimal service and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensuring Optimum Service:
- Collaborate with staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences, exceeding customer expectations.
- Inspect and rectify any deficiencies in staff grooming and attire, adhering to company standards.
- Pre-Opening and Closing Duties:
- Prepare necessary supplies and tools, setting up the workspace efficiently.
- Clean all equipment and areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Secure doors and facilities, ensuring safety and security protocols are met.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor storage areas for organization, proper use of FIFO, and cleanliness, preventing inventory shrinkage.
- Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies, minimizing waste and excess stock.
- Dining Room Operations:
- Supervise seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests, anticipating their needs.
- Complete work orders for maintenance and repairs, addressing issues promptly.
- Leadership and Coaching:
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees, fostering a positive work environment.
- Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment Open Door Policy process, promoting open communication.
- Company Policies and Procedures:
- Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures, maintaining compliance.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager, prioritizing employee safety.
- Participate in safety training and certifications, enhancing knowledge and skills.
- Guest Experience:
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, providing a warm welcome.
- Anticipate and address guest service needs, offering personalized support.
- Assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation, showcasing empathy and gratitude.
- Communication and Relationships:
- Communicate effectively with others using clear and professional language, fostering strong relationships.
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
- Quality and Efficiency:
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, delivering high-quality results.
- Identify opportunities to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings, implementing innovative solutions.
- Maintenance and Visual Inspection:
- Read and visually verify information in various formats, ensuring accuracy.
- Conduct regular visual inspections of tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects, preventing maintenance issues.
- Physical Requirements:
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or entire shifts, maintaining energy levels.
- Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, demonstrating physical capabilities.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, showcasing dexterity.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent, demonstrating basic education requirements.
- Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience, showcasing relevant skills and knowledge.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience, highlighting leadership abilities.
- License or Certification: None required, but certifications may be beneficial for career advancement.
