Job Title: Senior Process Safety & HSE Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Process Safety Specialist with experience in oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with process safety management principles and health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate risk assessments and studies to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
  • Develop safety philosophies, review fire risk assessments, and prepare/review hazardous area classifications to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop quantitative risk assessments and other safety studies to provide data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
  • Review design from a safety perspective to ensure that all necessary safety measures are incorporated.
  • Support design reviews and management of change to ensure that all changes are thoroughly assessed and implemented safely.

HSE Management:

  • Support HSE plans and conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with international HSE standards.
  • Ensure adherence to international HSE standards and regulations, such as OSHA and API.
  • Lead incident investigation and drive safety culture to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and compliance checks to ensure that employees are aware of and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • 8+ years in process safety and HSE.
  • Strong knowledge of PSM and HSE regulations.
  • Certifications preferred.
