Job Overview

Apeejay Stya University is seeking an accomplished Assistant Professor- Computer Science to join its faculty in Data Science, AI, and ML specialisation. This esteemed role requires expertise in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, AI, and Data Science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the School of Engineering & Technology in coordination with the Head of Department (HOD) to ensure objectives are met.
  • Teach a range of courses in various topics within the School of Engineering & Technology.
  • Evaluate existing courses, their relevance, and suggest improvements within established guidelines.
  • Develop and implement student learning outcomes and assessment activities at the program and course levels.
  • Conceive, design, develop, and implement new courses based on industry requirements while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Manage enrollment to optimize faculty loads and space resources, particularly general-purpose classrooms and labs.
  • Encourage and enhance research within the school, guiding team members and/or projects.
  • Share and adopt best practices from other schools.
  • Evaluate assessment criteria and propose changes as needed.
  • Lead regulatory audits and investigations as required.
  • Uphold company culture through communication, positive approach, and maintaining strong ethical standards.
  • Participate actively in the admission process from inception to execution in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate should possess significant research experience and publications in leading journals in the field of Computer Science.
  • Expertise in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, AI, and Data Science.
Education and Experience

Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) /Information Technology (IT) or related fields.

B.Tech & M.Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) / Information Technology (IT).

2-3 years of teaching and industry experience.
