Research Professor

The university is seeking a Research Professor in Computer Science Engineering to lead high-impact research projects, mentor scholars, and contribute to the university’s mission of research excellence.

The ideal candidate will have over 15-20 years of research experience and a strong track record of publishing original research in top-tier journals and presenting at premier conferences.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and coordinating advanced research projects in Computer Science Engineering
  • Publishing original research in high-impact international journals and presenting at premier conferences
  • Mentoring PhD scholars and research students, guiding their research work and development
  • Securing external research funding through grants, consultancy, and collaboration with industry partners
  • Facilitating interdisciplinary research and fostering collaborations within the university and with external institutions
  • Organizing workshops, seminars, and conferences to promote research culture
  • Providing expert advice on research policy, strategy, and development within the department and university
  • Contributing to academic leadership and participating in research-focused committees and initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

  • PhD in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in research, teaching, or industry
  • Demonstrated excellence in research through publications in reputed journals and conferences
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale research projects and secure funding
  • Experience in supervising doctoral research scholars
  • Strong expertise in key areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related fields
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
